Advice On Changing Your Hairstyle

When deciding to change your look, there are a few things you must do first. You have to be careful to evaluate all different alternatives. You need to keep price in mind as well as how you will feel.
Sometimes, we can get bored with ourselves. Worse, we can get complacent and comfortable with our look, so much so, that we do not even realize we have begun to look drab, ordinary, and out dated. Changing your hairstyle is a great way to get a fresh look and feel for yourself.
Going from long hair to short is hair is obviously one of the most drastic changes. It doesn't cost as much as extensions either. I would suggest using an imaging software tool to check what your face would look like with that cut. You can upload your image and compare your face shape with all different styles. Many salons actually offer this service.
Another way to change your look is to change the color. Getting a few subtle highlights or low lights can really change the way light is reflected off your hair and brighten you up a little bit. You can go platinum blond, midnight blue, or even a vibrant red. I would suggest visiting a wig shop in the mall just too see what this would look like first.
Lastly, you need to take into consideration the damage that might be done to your locks. If you usually cry when you get a trim, I would not suggest a drastic change in length, perhaps just a touch of color or a shaping up instead. If you have naturally dark hair, realize it will take many chemicals to change the color to a lighter shade and most of those have some sort of ammonia or bleaching agent.
Overall, you should really look deep down and think hard about what you feel is you. If you love your long hair, leave it be and get a trim with a few highlights. If you have been coloring at home for a while and need a professional to add a toner to void out brassiness, get an appointment. If you refresh your hairstyle, you can refresh your whole attitude!
