In this tough economy, saving money is important. One of the ways to save money is by saving money on skin care products. Here's how to save money with skin care products from your kitchen.
1. Save money on hair conditioner by using an egg.
Take an egg from your refrigerator; crack it; mix the yoke and apply the yoke on your hair. Then place a plastic bag over your hair for 20 minutes. The plastic bag will create heat, which will help the egg penetrate. After 20 minutes, rinse the egg out of your hair and your hair will have been treated with lots of protein from the egg.
2. Save money on exfoliate with coffee grounds.
Brew some coffee and save the grounds. (Be sure to use good quality coffee when you do.) Take the coffee grounds and put them in a container. Take the container with you to the shower and rub the grounds over your body in the shower. Be sure to include your face and neck too. Then rinse the grounds off. (The grounds will not clog the drain.) You will find that many dead skin cells have been removed and that your skin feels soft to the touch.
3. Save money on facial masks with an avocado or an egg.
Mash up some avocado or crack open an egg and mix up the egg yolk. Both foods are good masks for the face. Spread the avocado over your face or spread the egg over your face. Leave either of them on for 20 minutes. (The egg will dry on your face.) Rinse them off for skin that is rejuvenated.
4. Save money on body lotion with safflower oil.
Take some safflower oil and rub it into your legs, arms and other parts of your body. Wipe off excess. You will find that this oil is good for your skin and also makes your skin look healthy.
