Advice On Advertising

As a Creative Director and Copywriter with over 20 years experience, including working on brands like VW, ESPN and Subway, I can't emphasize enough the importance of simplicity. Whether it's a newspaper ad, TV commercial or website, have single point you want to get across. Too many times I see clients trying to put everything "and the kitchen sink" into a piece of communication- with the result being a mess. (To the consumer.) Also, remember how cluttered the world is by messaging every minute of every day. Make sure your business message is different and important - not to you...but to consumers.
