I do my daughter's hair simply because her mother doesn't. Her best effort to date is taking her to a salon and getting it braided so she has even less to worry about. That is great for her. Some hair just doesn't like to curl, but there is an alternative to curling irons! If you own a round 1-inch flatiron, you can do this. take the section of hair you would like to curl (preferably not to big) and clamp the flatiron on it, about 3 inches from the roots of your hair.
